About Japanese Tea House

Hours at these spots often run into the evening, later than a typical coffee shop, and many stay open on weekends when demand is highest in San Francisco. Seasonal and limited-time drink or dessert flavors are common, so a shop's current menu can differ from what is posted online; checking recent photos or calling ahead helps. Some locations in California are dessert-only with no seating, meant for takeout, while others have cafe-style seating for staying a while. Straws for bubble tea are typically wide to accommodate the toppings, and are provided automatically unless you ask for a regular one. Loyalty apps and stamp cards are common at chain locations, and ordering ahead through an app can shorten a wait considerably at busy locations during peak after-school and after-dinner hours.

The business lists hours on 7 days of the week. On most of those days it is open 9 am–4:45 pm. For such a small garden. This pack so many thing. Koi fish, tower, vertical bridge, like so many things. Moss, feels like mini bonsai tower. Sure you have to pay to get in. But it's amazing. There is small gift shop, food . Must see it you are in the park. Its also highlighted in SFO airport

After being in the bay for over 30 years, I finally got to visit it. The gardens are pretty awesome. The tea house is super cute with some good Japanese food choices. 🍡 🍜

Absolutely gorgeous location and the service was great. Everyone working was kind and in a great mood. The food was meh. The egg sandwich was super dry and didnt taste very good. We just wanted a small snack so we didnt try any ramen or udon but others who had it seemed to be enjoying it.

My son really wanted to visit the Japanese Tea House and gardens. He has been fascinated with their culture for the past couple of years, so, while on vacation, we planned a visit. It was everything he had hoped for and more. The tea house is set in the middle of the gardens. The prices were reasonable and the setting was fairly authentic, I believe. We had rea, chicken ramen and a lemon bar. Everything was prepared to perfection. Even though it was crowded, the gentleman who took our order went out of his way to help us find a table. Very unexpected, but extremely happy that someone would go out of their way to assist us to such an extent. After lunch we strolled through the gardens. It was an oasis of calm after such a busy vacation. If you get a chance, please stop by. I believe you might enjoy your visit.

We had a good experience at Japanese Tea House. The tea and dango we ordered were reasonably priced and tasted good during our visit. The location was very crowded, but the line moved fairly quickly and stayed organized. The staff did not interact with us much beyond taking our order, though they were polite. There is seating available, but it may be harder to find a spot during busier times because of how popular the location is. Overall, it was a pleasant place to stop for tea and snacks.
